Get ready because this is quite a long post. I find that I take a lot more pictures when it's nice enough to take Avery outside. Maybe I'll have to start posting more frequently so the posts won't get so long... only maybe though.
I've had a few requests to see the belly so here I am in all my glory... I think this was taken at about 35-36 weeks. I'm 38 weeks now. For those of you who are normal and don't think of pregnancy in weeks, this means I'm about to pop.
Avery loves her shadow. Nana got a great picture of her waving at it.
These next pictures are from the big snow day. Avery was uncharacteristically timid about the snow. I think maybe it is like her fear of bubble baths, how can you know everything is safe when you can't see through to the ground? She did enjoy eating the snow though.
And she enjoyed when Mommy ate the snow.
Not really sure here...
Being very brave and walking through the snow by herself to give me the arms for the snowman.
And the bravery stops here.
My mom and I had to build the snowman fast since Avery wasn't going to last much longer so forgive the poor job.
Rain is much more fun for Avery than snow. She has no problem at all tromping through the water and mud.
Bubble blowing is a big favorite at our house right now too.
What better place to give your child a sucker than in a bathtub? No mess and we can brush teeth right afterwards.
Avery saying hi to Buddy at Pawpaw and GayGay's house.
Trying on Mommy's hat. I liked how her teeth looked in this picture.
Cousin Kellan had his 2nd birthday party at my parents' farm. This is always one of my favorite places to go. The weather was perfect all weekend and we took full advantage of it. Here's Avery harassing her cousin Parker on the porch while she was waiting on me to get ready to take her outside to play.
Pop dumped a load of sand out in the front of the house for the kids to play in... Avery loved it!
Clay and I took Avery down to the creek since she likes to play in water so much. She pooped in her diaper as soon as we got down there, so off the diaper went and she played pantless until it was time to go back to the house.
Pinchable.
Look at those cheeks. Just as pinchable.
After attempting to feed herself spaghetti.
Is there anything sweeter than watching your husband and child play together? I'm just not sure there is.
Getting ready to go on a ride together. Avery has recently taken up a true love for driving, so the 4-wheelers were a hit.
On our way back down to the creek.

Playing Peek-a-boo through the porch door.
Another rainy day back at our house. She loved to try to catch the water running out of the gutter.
And sometimes she was even successful in getting a little.

Parker, Kellan and Avery after a full day of playing in the rain. They all were zoned out to the PraiseBaby DVD.
Last week we had beautiful weather and were outside almost all day everyday. Clay and I (mostly Clay) got some work done in the yard and Avery tromped from one place to another entertaining herself in the backyard. She wore herself out completely.
Discovering the fun of sidewalk chalk.
I had been going in and out of the house keeping the laundry going one day while Avery and I played outside. Avery trailed me at one point and helped herself to the newly washed and folded blankets and was out the door before I could catch her.
Needless to say, the blankets had to be rewashed after being dragged through the mud.
The day before Easter we decided Avery needed to do some true Easter egg decorating. There was no way she was going to do this in our new home, so outside we went and off went her clothes. She couldn't figure out what was going on at first.
It did not take her long at all though to get the hang of it.
She was a little rough on the hardboiled eggs. She would throw (with good aim might I add) the eggs into the mugs which resulted in dye splashing everywhere and none too few cracks in the eggs.
I love this little kid pose... notice the dye all over her.
Do you think this will come off for church and Easter pictures tomorrow?

Thankfully yes! Good job scrubbing Daddy!
The Easter Bunny left treats the next morning for her.
Some of her beautifully decorated eggs made it in to the basket. The dyed cracks actually looked pretty good I thought.
Checking everything out Easter morning before church. I think she was more than happy with her find. I mean, that basket could be filled with a bunch of trash as long as there were some bubbles mixed in.
The girls with PawPaw and GayGay after the Easter egg hunt.
Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of everyone coming over for the Easter egg hunt that Sunday. I left my battery charger for the camera at my parents' farm, so all my egg hunt pictures are on film and who knows when I'll get around to developing them. Someday.

And just what did Santa bring Avery?
Here she is with all her loot; her big present was her table and chairs and tea set.
I wasn't sure if she would understand the tea set yet. I was very mistaken. I do wish she would learn to climb on the chairs without falling though.
She did get to eat a couple candies from her stocking before breakfast... that was a big hit.
